Our Projects

planingWhen you work with Pusateri Architectural, our objective is to keep you involved and informed at all times. We respect your input and consider it to be an essential element of the process. In order to ensure success of the project, we keep the lines of communication open.

Our Process

The Initial Meeting: Information Gathering

Once we've been contacted, we will return your call or email and set up an initial meeting at your home or office. During that meeting I will ask you a lot of questions to learn more about your specific need, such as: What kind of functionality are you looking for? What is your architectural taste or style? How can we make this fit in with your lifestyle? Have you collected any photos of what you have in mind? What is your budget for this project? Usually I will take some measurements and do some rough sketches at this time.

The Commitment

Based on the information gathered at the initial meeting, I will go back to my shop and work on some more detailed, two-dimensional drawings. Those drawings are presented to you at the second meeting, along with an estimated budget, and some suggestions for types of wood, hardware, and finishes that would be appropriate for your project. I may have to go back to the drawing board once or twice to finalize the design. Once the drawings are accepted and a budget established, a deposit is required and the project can be scheduled to begin.

The Work Flow

Each piece is handcrafted in my woodworking shop in West Boylston, Massachusetts. You are invited to visit the workshop to follow the progress of your project throughout the building phase. When all of the components of the project are built, each piece is expertly installed in your home to meticulously fit the space allotted. We're known for our "blind" finishing techniques that hide wires, allow for ventilation, and provide proper lighting without disrupting the fine woodworking aesthetics.

While we are in your home, we respect your privacy and your property. The work site is cleaned up before we leave for the day, every day, until the job is finished. Upon completion of the installation, the final payment is due.
